The Double J Hacienda & Art Ranch came to being through a vision that Jimmy and I shared of building community through creativity and inspiration. For six years we nurtured our dream at this beautiful spot overlooking the Brazos River. Because of the great support of our guests, artists, musicians and amazing staff we experienced more love and community than we could have ever imagined.

A new chapter is beginning. We sold The Double J to a great group of friends. Jeff and Adiena Bednarz, Tammie Kleinmann, and Brian Nadurak love it here as much as we do. They are our ranch neighbors down the road at the Lucky Cross Ranch and if you've gone canoeing or horseback riding then you've visited their ranch. If Brian's name sounds familiar it's because his art covers the walls of the Great Room. We are so happy too that their purchase of the old hacienda brings most of the original Seybold Guest Ranch back together again. They will be excellent stewards and they are ready to book your large group events.

We are grateful to everyone who supported our dream and felt inspired by this wonderful place on the river. It has been an unforgettable part of our life's journey.
